Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a GME Program Coordinator to coordinate and support graduate and undergraduate functions with program directors and the Senior Program Coordinator, ensuring programs stay in good standing with GME and ACGME.

Under the Program Director's oversight, the Coordinator manages operations of accredited and non‑accredited residency/fellowship programs, including recruiting trainees, conducting evaluations, analyzing workflows, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in program or project management, preferably in supporting an accredited education program.
• Experience using computers and software including New Innovations, e‑mail, calendaring products, Microsoft applications and web‑based databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with program directors and GME staff to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Recruit trainees and conduct trainee evaluations; manage administrative workflow and deadlines.
• Analyze workflows, prioritize tasks and prepare timely reports; maintain databases and communications.
• Participate in at least one committee to improve Graduate Medical Education.
