Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Education Coordinator to support multiple neurosurgery training programs. You will manage fellow recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements, while coordinating scheduling, curriculum support, and educational activities across sites.

The role requires strong organization, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information, with hybrid onsite work after an initial training period.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship programs.
• Experience coordinating trainee onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or medical staff administration.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in an academic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations for multiple accredited and non-accredited neurosurgery training programs.
• Manage all aspects of fellow recruitment, including interview scheduling and applicant communication.
• Oversee onboarding and credentialing of new fellows, including licensure, visa requirements, and hospital privileges.
• Plan and execute program orientation, graduation, and other key educational events for fellows and faculty.
• Administer fellowship program systems (e.g., New Innovations, ACGME WebADS, ERAS, NRMP), including setup, data maintenance, and reporting.
• Coordinate clinical schedules, rotations, and educational activities for fellows across affiliated sites.
• Manage the HMS clerkship program and internal rotators, including onboarding and scheduling.
• Serve as a primary resource for fellows, faculty, and administrators on program policies and educational processes.
• Lead and execute special projects and departmental initiatives to support neurosurgery education programs.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings and institutional initiatives supporting quality improvement.
• Manage onboarding and serve as the primary contact for Research – Fellows and Extended Workers, including research trainees, interns, and observers.
• Oversee all visa and immigration processes and ensure compliance.
• Maintain confidential credentialing and VISA records and prepare for audits.
• Coordinate with immigration attorneys, institutional offices, and external agencies to facilitate visa sponsorship and complex immigration cases.
