Job summary

Banner Health’s Neurosurgery Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is recruiting a registered nurse who will provide patient-centered care across the neurosurgery pathway. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety for patients and families during critical moments.

The role is a day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a focus on evidence-based practice, Magnet-recognized standards, and ongoing quality

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
• One year of acute care nursing experience is typical.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for neurosurgery patients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Document care and communicate patient status to physicians and families.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
