Job summary

Northwest Indiana Health System seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a growing physician-led group in the Greater Chicagoland area. This role offers high-volume cranial and spine cases with EPIC/EHR AI enhancements and collaborative, multidisciplinary support.

Located in Northwest Indiana with proximity to Chicago, the position supports subspecialty focus, strong professional backing, and a robust benefits package in a HIMSS Stage VII environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon with active Indiana license or eligible within 90–120 days.
• US MD/DO degree with completed neurosurgery residency (ACGME).
• Strong surgical and clinical competency in general neurosurgery and subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide cranial and complex/general spine neurosurgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Perform clinical evaluations, workups, and elective/emergent neurosurgical procedures.
• Participate in an equitable neurosurgery call rotation.
• Utilize advanced surgical tech and EPIC EHR with AI enhancements.
• Collaborate with neurologists, spine surgeons, pain specialists, and critical care teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient care pathways.
