Job summary

United Future is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a physician-led group in Northwest Indiana, near the Greater Chicagoland area. The role offers high-volume cranial and spine surgery in a HIMSS Level VII environment with EPIC EHR integration and AI-assisted documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO).
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Neurological Surgery residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for Indiana licensure within 90–120 days).
• Demonstrates competency in general neurosurgery and/or subspecialty fellowship areas (e.g., spine, vascular, skull base, neuro-oncology).

Responsibilities

• Provide cranial and complex/general spine neurosurgical care in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Perform clinical evaluations, patient workups, and elective/emergent neurosurgical procedures.
• Participate in an equitable shared neurosurgery call rotation.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology, intraoperative imaging, and EPIC with AI-driven documentation.
• Collaborate with neurologists, spine surgeons, pain management, and critical care teams.
• Contribute to QA initiatives, safety protocols, and patient care pathways.
