Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy. This field-based role covers White Plains, NY, and Stamford, CT, with travel up to 70% to engage psychiatrists and treatment centers in a complex site-of-care model.

You will partner across Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to ensure education, access, and uptake while maintaining compliance and patient-centric care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is a plus.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement and payer processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the company’s therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with referral pathways and patient selection.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding, readiness, and workflow optimization.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow considerations.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and resources.
• Gather actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch plans.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric engagement.
