Job summary

Compass Pathways Inc. is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across certified centers in a field-based role.

You will build relationships with psychiatrists and health systems, deliver clinical education, and guide patient pathways while ensuring compliance and regulatory alignment. The position requires 5–8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, with a focus on psychiatry or CNS, and involves travel up to 70% in the Milwaukee/ Madison/ Green Bay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in Psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement knowledge.
• Buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics experience.
• Prior authorization and payer processes familiarity.
• Track record of launching novel therapies or pre-launch activity.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers or complex site-of-care models.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist in understanding referral pathways.
• Collaborate with sites to support onboarding and treatment delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling and patient flow.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and provider challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
