Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist in Frisco, TX, to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and integrated care systems. This field-based role involves up to 70% travel and close collaboration with Medical Affairs and Market Access teams.

The candidate will bring 5–8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, strong clinical acumen, and proven success in pre-launch or launch environments, with a focus on site-of-care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Proven success launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and excellent clinical acumen.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the innovative mental health therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centres, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding patient selection and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding, readiness, and optimization of treatment delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling, patient flow, and operational considerations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and connecting to resources.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, including account prioritization, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric behaviors in all engagements.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and learning within the sales organization.
