Job summary

Compass Pathways seeks a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of our mental health therapy in Des Moines, IA. This field-based role builds trusted partnerships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and care networks while ensuring compliance and patient access.

You’ll work at the intersection of clinical education and account management to support a successful launch and ongoing engagement with stakeholders across a complex care ecosystem, with travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding pathways for referral and access.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding and optimization of delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations unique to the model.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and provider challenges.
