Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a dedicated pharmaceutical sales professional to drive promotion and product adoption within a defined territory in Washington. You will work with the District Sales Manager to execute strategies and monitor performance against targets.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and market analysis skills, with travel and credentialing responsibilities across healthcare facilities and government entities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with GPA > 3.0.
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Candidate may be considered for an 'Associate' role.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
• Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation in the territory.
• Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
• Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement in institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Complete monitoring/reporting requirements using approved systems.
• Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
