Job summary

Acadia is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to drive sales in the assigned Johnson City, TN territory. You will educate clinicians, address questions, and tailor materials to customer needs while coordinating with managed markets, operations, and marketing teams.

This role requires strong communication, knowledge of payer dynamics, and the ability to travel as needed. A life sciences degree is preferred and residency in the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• Sales experience in healthcare: 1–2 years for Specialist, 5 years for Senior Specialist, 12+ years for Executive Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually; provide clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet/exceed sales objectives.
• Establish/maintain relationships with HCPs, key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor approved sales aids, clinical reprints, and brand resources to customer needs.
• Partner with internal colleagues for coordinated solutions.
• Guide pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels; liaison for access-related issues.
• Track/report sales activities, expenses, and customer interactions.
• Represent Acadia at conferences/trainings and participate in required meetings.
• Mentor/train new sales specialists; contribute to cross-functional projects.
