Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area required.
• 7+ years of research experience required; 5+ years with a Master’s; 2+ years with a PhD.
• Experience leading and supporting research experiments preferred.
• Experience guiding and training other laboratory personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo studies using preclinical models, including ICV injections and behavioral assessments.
• Process brain tissue for histology, cryosectioning, immunofluorescence, and confocal microscopy.
• Culture and maintain primary neural cells and established cell lines for in vitro studies.
• Analyze, quantify, and interpret experimental data with meticulous record-keeping.
• Coordinate genotyping workflows and preclinical resources.
