Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• 7+ years of research experience; 5+ years with a Master’s; 2+ years with a PhD.
• Experience leading and coordinating lab projects and training staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo studies using preclinical models and ICV injections.
• Process brain tissue for histology and confocal microscopy.
• Culture and maintain primary neural cells and established lines for in vitro studies.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data with meticulous record keeping.
• Coordinate genotyping workflows and research support activities.
• Collaborate across departments and core facilities; contribute to manuscript preparation.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize laboratory procedures and protocols.
• Perform other duties to support scientific goals of the lab and institution.
