Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area.
• 7+ years of research experience; 5+ years with a Master’s; 2+ years with a PhD.
• Experience in in vivo experimental methods and brain tumor models.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo studies using preclinical models including intracerebroventricular (ICV) injections, behavioral assessments, transcardial perfusion, tissue collection, and downstream analyses.
• Process brain tissue for histology and confocal microscopy.
• Culture and maintain primary neural cells and established cell lines.
• Analyze data and maintain detailed records of methods and results.
• Coordinate preclinical resources and genotyping workflows.
• Collaborate with lab members and core facilities across departments.
• Contribute to publication and dissemination of findings.
• Develop and optimize lab protocols.
