Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area.
• 7+ years of research experience required; more with advanced degrees.
• Experience designing, executing, and troubleshooting independent experiments.
• Hands-on experience with single-cell workflows and flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform experiments using existing, modified, or newly developed protocols.
• Accurately record procedures and data for reporting and publications.
• Prepare results for posters and presentations.
• Set up protocols and troubleshoot experiments independently.
• Coordinate sample intake, QC, and sequencing run scheduling for cores.
• Train technicians, students, and investigators on cytometry concepts.
• Develop and optimize multicolor high-parameter cytometry panels.
• Perform regular cell sorting services and support biologically relevant approaches.
• Maintain equipment, ordering, and purchasing support as needed.
