Everforth Apex is seeking a Research Assistant to support the Mind Sciences team in conducting human studies focused on perception, cognition, neurophysiology, and athlete experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or a closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting or supporting human-subject research; Master's requires 2+ years, Bachelor's requires 4+ years.
• Experience interacting directly with study participants and collecting human research data.
• Comfort setting up cognitive and sensory neuroscientific equipment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established protocols accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute human-subject research studies designed by senior researchers.
• Prepare research spaces and study materials before participant arrival.
• Follow established protocols precisely and consistently.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot neuroscience research equipment, including EEG systems.
• Welcome participants, explain study procedures, and ensure they feel comfortable.
• Ensure participants have completed informed consent documentation.
• Collect high-quality physiological, behavioral, and subjective research data.
• Ensure data are labeled, stored, organized, and transferred according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate study records and protect confidentiality and data integrity.
• Perform light data cleaning, processing, or quality-control checks under guidance.
