Job summary

Syneos Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Patient Access Manager to drive successful launch of patient access initiatives within the assigned geographic region. You will lead and develop Patient Access Specialists to meet business goals and provide reimbursement education for neuroscience products.

Responsibilities include coordinating benefits investigation and prior authorization processes, ensuring compliance, and traveling up to 75% as needed while living within territory boundaries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales, Part B/ Medical benefit, and/or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
• Specialty pharmacy channel experience; CMS policy and process knowledge.
• Current driver’s license in good standing along with the ability to travel overnight up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the skill sets and performance of the Patient Access Specialists to achieve/exceed specific business goals.
• Direct Patient Access Specialists in providing reimbursement education and leveraging patient healthcare information (PHI) for neuroscience products.
• Develop plans that translate and support the benefits investigation and prior authorization processes for neuroscience products and administration/observation.
• Provide communication and motivation to all members of the district toward delivering customer expectations and reinforce that we are customer driven.
• Remain fully versed in compliance regulations including legal and regulatory and ensure team is equally trained.
