Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Patient Access Specialist to drive patient access initiatives in the Raleigh area. You will coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to improve formulary access and reimbursement support for neuroscience therapies.

You will educate stakeholders on insurance requirements, assist with prior authorizations, and navigate FDA/state rules for controlled medications while traveling up to 30% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of healthcare sales experience.
• Understanding of access and reimbursement landscape.
• Experience building customer relationships and managing large accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and operate within territory.

Responsibilities

• Expand patient access initiatives within assigned territory.
• Provide reimbursement education to support benefits investigation and prior authorizations.
• Educate on regulatory requirements for handling controlled medications.
• Engage with hospitals, INOs, pharmacies, and mental health centers to drive objectives.
• Direct customers to HUB resources and reimbursement guidance.
