Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Patient Access Manager to lead the launch of patient access initiatives in the assigned geographic region and ensure that Patient Access Specialists achieve objectives. You will recruit, coach and retain top performers, drive reimbursement education and apply PHI knowledge for neuroscience products, and translate benefits investigations into action for prior authorization.

You will stay current on compliance regulations, manage performance against targets, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales, Part B/ Medical benefit, and/or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
• Specialty pharmacy channel experience; CMS policy and process knowledge.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
• Must live within territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the skills of the Patient Access Specialists to achieve/exceed goals.
• Direct Patient Access Specialists in providing reimbursement education and leveraging PHI for neuroscience products.
• Develop plans to translate and support benefits investigation and prior authorization processes for neuroscience products and administration/observation.
• Provide communication and motivation to the district toward delivering customer expectations.
• Remain fully versed in compliance regulations and ensure team is trained.
