Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Neuroscience Specialty Representative to join a nationwide sales team. You will develop and manage the assigned territory, communicating product information to healthcare providers and pharmacists to enable safe, effective use.

The role emphasizes compliance with drug laws and Ipsen policies, with travel as needed. The incumbent will build relationships with HCPs, achieve call goals, and manage administrative tasks while promoting Ipsen’s portfolio in a buy-and-bill

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in neuroscience area preferred.
• Experience promoting preventive migraine treatments preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed for business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with HCPs.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Attain goals for calls on appropriate HCPs to communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on Ipsen’s products.
• Execute calls on HCPs and pharmacists to provide product information and to assure the availability of Ipsen’s products in the territory.
• Conduct in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications.
• Navigate through complex organization structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
• Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing principles of key HCP/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability. Develop and execute effective business plans.
• Demonstrate completion of administrative requirements including budget management, logins, sample accounting, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
• Comply with all state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all Ipsen’s standards and policies relating to all job activities.
