Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, a leader in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the San Antonio, TX territory including Austin, Corpus Christi, and Waco. The FRM partners with healthcare providers to optimize patient access, education, and adherence across J&J Neuroscience therapies.

The role requires on-site engagement with HCPs up to 50% of time, strong reimbursement knowledge, and the ability to navigate payer policies and appeals. Travel up to 75% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account management and/or reimbursement in provider offices.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill design, coding, and authorizations.
• Experience in managed care, payer policies, and appeals processes.
• Ability to influence across a matrix organization and collaborate with teams.
• Strong communication skills and hub services experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, submissions, coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support, sales reps, and account managers as reimbursement expert.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field teams.
• Use data and account management to address access barriers proactively.
• Address critical access and affordability issues with urgency and accountability.
• Understand policies with managed care colleagues and potential changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access education aligned with FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account planning.
• Keep knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
