Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is recruiting for a Field Reimbursement Manager for the San Francisco, CA territory, including Sacramento, Fresno, and San Jose, CA.

The FRM will educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, collaborate with the field support team, and address access barriers for Janssen therapies. The role requires extensive field activity, data-driven problem solving, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in provider office setting.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Permanent residence in the territory covered by the role.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support team and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Use data and account management to proactively address access barriers.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and problem-solving.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
