Job summary
Bristol Myers Squibb Co invites applications for a Neuroscience TRC Co-op in the Cambridge area. The role supports laboratory research projects by establishing in vitro models, validating disease-relevant pathways, and assisting with pharmacodynamic assays.
You will work with cell culture systems and in vivo samples (human, NHP, mouse) under supervision. The position emphasizes experimental development, data analysis, and documentation, with SOP generation for protocols.
Qualifications
- Current PhD candidates only
- Strong knowledge of neuroscience and/or cell biology
- Prior experience with cell culture
- Prior experience with flow cytometry
- Prior experience with in vivo sample preparation and ELISA/western blot methods
- Experience with assay/method development
- Experience with data analysis software (Excel, GraphPad Prism)
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment.
Responsibilities
- Develop cell based readouts for disease relevant pathways
- Develop flow cytometry based assays
- Develop ELISA protocols to examine select proteins in human, NHP, and mouse tissues and biofluids
- Document experimental results
- Generate an SOP for methods established
