Job summary

Banner Health in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Physician Practice Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Neurology practice, guiding non-physician staff and ensuring a consistently high-quality patient experience across clinics.

You will oversee front and back office functions, scheduling, and patient services, collaborate with physicians, drive process improvements, and support training at Arcadia and Banner University Medical Center Phoenix locations, with a focus on efficiency and service

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree.
• At least two years experience in a physician's office or medical environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at hire for certain sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of non-physician staff and ensures high productivity; suggests procedural improvements.
• Coaches, trains, motivates, conducts evaluations, and directs workflow; schedules staff across offices.
• Oversees all front/back office functions including reception, scheduling, patient services, records, and information systems.
• Acts as liaison between staff and physicians to ensure excellent patient care and service.
• Maintains office policies and regulatory compliance; coordinates maintenance and supplies.
• Covers front and/or back office and may administer medications as policy allows.
• Provides guidance to ensure quality patient experiences and efficient practice operations.
• Manages referral/authorization processes and multi-system navigation.
