Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in Washington, DC seeks a Neurology Lead Technician to guide the team on the floor, support neurologists, and maintain high standards of patient care. You will mentor staff, run shifts, and ensure protocols align with medical advances and hospital objectives.

You will lead clinical operations, perform hands-on nursing care, coordinate anesthesia, and manage staff development while maintaining open communication with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or CVN preferred.
• 1–3 years in a veterinary specialty or emergency hospital required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide floor leadership, manage workflows and schedule coverage.
• Lead hands-on clinical care and coordinate neurology procedures.
• Mentor staff, conduct team huddles, and ensure SOP adherence.
• Communicate goals and hospital initiatives to the team.
• Monitor KPIs and resolve operational issues with leadership.
