Requirements include 5+ years as a Veterinary Technician, surgical and dental expertise, strong clinical skills, and certification. Expect duties in exams, diagnostics, anesthesia support, client education, and digital records

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Minimum 5 years Surgical and Dental Experience.
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is required.
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency with diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and a compassionate demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Assist in exams, procedures, and surgeries under veterinarians.
• Perform diagnostic tests including lab work, digital radiography, and dental procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery or treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Educate clients on pet care, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain and clean equipment, exam rooms, and surgical areas.
• Assist in the management of medical records using Cornerstone.
• Collaborate with a team to develop hospital protocols and train staff.
