Ethos Veterinary Health in Winchester, VA is seeking a Veterinary Technician Manager to lead licensed technicians and support staff, ensuring excellent patient care. You will supervise shift leaders, develop training programs, and implement medical protocols in partnership with the Medical Director and DVM team.

Formación

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician with extensive experience in emergency/critical care preferred.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing large veterinary medical teams.
• Strong knowledge of medical operations, labor management, and inventory cost controls.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across both medical and administrative teams.
• Demonstrated success in recruitment, hiring, and staff retention initiatives.
• The position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Medical Staff Management & Staffing: maintain staffing levels to support doctors.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring efforts for technical staff.
• Training & Best Practices: develop and maintain a robust training program for technical staff.
• Establish and communicate medical protocols with the Medical Director and DVM team.
• Routinely assess hospital operations and adjust workflows for efficiency and patient care.
• Provide ongoing guidance, training to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Leadershp & Culture: foster a positive hospital culture and lead by example.
• Business & Operational Management: oversee scheduling, staffing, overtime, and cost controls.
• Cross Departmental Collaboration: liaise between medical and administrative teams to ensure seamless workflows.
