Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health in Richmond seeks a Neurology GME Department Program Coordinator to support graduate and undergraduate medical education activities with program directors and Senior Program Coordinators.

Under the Program Director's oversight, you will handle program operations, accreditation processes, trainee recruitment and evaluations, and collaborate with the Office of GME, SOM Curriculum Office, and ACGME to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in program or project management, preferably in supporting an accredited education program.
• Experience using New Innovations, Kronos, and Microsoft applications or web-based databases.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and flex scheduling as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the graduate and undergraduate function with program directors and Senior Program Coordinator to ensure programs remain in good standing with VCU Health Systems GME and ACGME.
• Maintain operations of the accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship training program under oversight of the Program Director.
• Analyze administrative workflow, prioritize tasks, and manage projects to meet deadlines; compile reports and maintain databases.
• Liaise with the Office of GME, SOM Curriculum Office, and the ACGME; coordinate with learners, faculty, and program leadership.
