Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Front Office Lead in Neurology to oversee daily front desk operations across multiple locations. You will coordinate patient scheduling, check-in, checkout, and follow-up activities while ensuring accuracy and patient confidentiality.

The role acts as a liaison among physicians, patients, offices and insurers, providing coverage/training and traveling between satellite offices to support staff and maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a physician office.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Professional appearance with strong oral and written communication.
• Computer, keyboard and data entry skills.
• Pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient scheduling, check-in, checkout, and follow-up activities.
• Act as liaison between physician, patient, facility, and insurer.
• Collect payments at checkout.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Support 25 providers, 12 front desk and 11 clinical staff across 4 departments and 5 locations.
• Provide front-desk oversight and travel between offices for coverage and training.
