Job summary

The University of Chicago Medical Center’s BSD NEU - Medical Education department seeks an Education Coordinator to handle administrative aspects of Neurology’s weekly Grand Rounds and medical student education programs.

You will work with Clerkship Directors and faculty to manage MS3/MS4 rotations, schedule visits, track evaluations, and ensure compliance with ACGME and RRC requirements while coordinating CME logistics and residency program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required as per job description.
• 2-5 years of work experience in related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MS3/MS4 student schedules, ensuring rotation requirements and capacity.
• Manage clerkship orientation, proctors, and exams; liaise with faculty and students.
• Track evaluations and deadlines for students and residents.
• Oversee Grand Rounds speaker schedule, travel, and CME compliance.
• Serve as a liaison among program leadership, faculty, trainees, and staff.
