Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus Neurodiagnostic department seeks a Chief Technologist to supervise EEG services, coordinate staff, and ensure quality and safety. The role includes performing EEGs, reviewing competencies, and managing monitoring studies across patient care areas.

Experience in electroneurodiagnostics, ABRET EEG registry, and BLS are required, with leadership responsibilities and a weekend/holiday rotation schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABRET EEG registry required; EEG registry within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of electroneurodiagnostic program preferred.
• 4–5 years of neurodiagnostics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees technical operation of department and staff.
• Coordinates clinical activities of Neurodiagnostic Technologists.
• Performs routine and complex EEGs in patient care areas.
• Reviews quality and competencies of staff and interns.
• Performs long-term monitoring studies and data recording.
