Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related procedures, ensuring accurate testing and timely reports.

The role requires scheduling, equipment maintenance, billing documentation, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with clinicians. A healthcare-related bachelor's degree or ABRET/CAAHEP credential is required; R.EEG.T or NCS credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent neurodiagnostic training.
• Completion of a CAAHEP Neurodiagnostic Tech program or ABRET-recognized program.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Performs all electroencephalograms, routine and portable EEGs, 24-hour ambulatory EEGs, EMG/NCV testing.
• Schedules neurodiagnostic procedures and gives accurate instructions.
• Performs billing documentation and maintains departmental records.
• Maintains electrophysiological equipment and performs quality control.
• Participates in activities to improve patient care quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field

CAAHEP Neurodiagnostic Tech program

ABRET recognized neurodiagnostic program
