Qualifications

• Six months' work experience in a hospital or physician's office is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 12 months or less of EEG or respiratory therapy programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Applies electrodes on predetermined positions on patient's head and checks accuracy for testing; recognizes and eliminates causes of electrical interference for clearer studies.
• Calibrates and keeps equipment clean to maintain performance.
• Assesses tracings and abstracts information from patient records to assist neurologist in interpretation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
