Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech for Oak Lawn, IL, on a 13-week contract starting 10/26/2026. Night shift 8 hours, Tue-Sat 11PM–7:30AM; you will perform EEG tests from neonates to ICU patients with Epic preferred and Nihon Kohden experience.

Requirements include BLS and EEG certification (or grandfathered by experience) and at least 2 years in the field. Free parking and on-site coordination provided.

Qualifications

• BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in from experience)
• 2 years EEG experience required
• Neonatal EEG experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG tests across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Will float to ICU to perform tests as needed.
• Work with multiple EEG techs and support staff on unit duties.

• AAH will require the Covid vaccine.

General Information

• Beds: Outpatient -2, Inpatient -2; Will also float to ICU to perform tests
• Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience: No, 2 years' experience
• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
• Neonates up to geriatrics

Required Certifications:

• BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in from experience)

Skills required

• Neonatal experience, electrode placement, prepping patient, recording/measuring, pattern recognition, wrapping head for continuous EEG

Support on the Unit:

• Other EEG techs are available
• RRT/Code Team
• Public safety officer
• 911 will be called for outpatients

Charting System:

• Epic - preferred
• Nihon Kohden software experience - required

Floating: No, just to ICU
