Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required; 2 Year/Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in neuro-diagnostics or 1 year in Surgical Monitoring or 1 year in neuro and registration.
• Licensure: Registry eligible or registered/certified in a neurodiagnostic field.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: CPR, age-appropriate care, interpretation of encephalographic brain patterns, weekend call rotation, and collaboration with Neurologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs all department procedures and assists with supervision of other technicians.
• Assists management in technical accountability of service lines.
• Interviews patients regarding health and illness prevention and contributes to diagnosis and plan.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and quality in patient care.
• Participates in regular staff meetings and shares information to improve processes.
