Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an EEG Technician to support epilepsy monitoring and routine EEG studies. This PRN role requires at least 2 years of experience in patient care with EEG procedures and proficiency with brain activity measurement equipment.

You will explain procedures to patients and families, train staff as needed, and maintain EEG systems per ACNS/AANEM guidelines while prioritizing patient safety and high-quality data documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years in EEG procedures or patient care.
• BLS CPR certification required; REEGT/ABRET preferred.
• English literacy and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEGs, monitor patients, and document data.
