Job summary

UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL seeks an EEG Technologist to perform neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision and help train students and junior staff. The role advances to complex EEG, EP, LTM, and EMU studies as competencies are earned.

Required: associate degree and at least 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, plus ABRET registry within 2 years. BLS for Healthcare Providers is also required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; ABRET EEG registry within 2 years.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical healthcare experience required.
• Must complete ASET LTM100 within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision and guidance.
• Provide technical support for routine and specialized testing and train staff as directed.
• Advance to performing complex EEG, EP, LTM, and EMU studies per policy.
