Qualifications

  • Completion of a technical program in Neurodiagnostics or EEG.
  • Certification as REPT or R EEGT is preferred or required.
  • Experience with EEG, LTM, EPs is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, portable, and 24-hour EEG monitoring procedures.
  • Conduct evoked potential studies and assist in intraoperative monitoring.
  • Assist in long-term video EEG monitoring (LTVM) setup and data collection.
  • Identify and correct technical and artifactual issues during procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Accurately document patient data, procedure notes, and observations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain competency and certification readiness.
