Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an EEG Technician to perform routine and complex EEGs and assist with advanced neurodiagnostic procedures at multiple sites. The role includes operative monitoring, evoked potentials, long-term monitoring, and thorough documentation in EMU settings.

The position emphasizes patient care, infection control, and supervision of students and new technologists while maintaining high standards of practice and data archiving for weekly conferences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• END program graduate with 3 years experience preferred.
• EEG registry ABRET required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex EEG procedures including portable, sleep-deprived, neonatal and ECS studies.
• Performs EEG procedures using appropriate test strategy and archiving of records.
