Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking an EEG Technologist to perform neurodiagnostic procedures under the direction of the Director of Neurodiagnostics and Medical Directors.

The role provides technical support for routine and specialized testing, assists with instruction and training of students and junior staff, and may advance to Neonatal EEG, Evoked Potentials, Long-Term Monitoring and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit studies as competencies are achieved.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical healthcare experience.
• Must complete the ASET LTM100 course within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain ABRET registry (R EEG T) within two years of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs neurodiagnostic procedures under the direction of leadership.
• Provides technical support for routine and specialized neurodiagnostic testing.
• Assists with instruction and training of students and junior staff.
• May perform advanced neurodiagnostic procedures as competencies are achieved.
