Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an EEG Technician to work at multiple sites across our network, performing routine and complex EEGs per laboratory standards. You will contribute to high‑quality neurodiagnostic testing and data management.

The role involves long‑term video/EEG monitoring, evoked potentials, and intraoperative monitoring, with preceptorship for new technologists. ABRET registry and END program graduate preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• END program graduate with 3 years experience preferred.
• ABRET EEG registry required.
• Experience with neurodiagnostic testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex EEG procedures including portable, sleep-deprived, neonatal and ECS studies.
• Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment and maintain records.
• Perform long-term video/EEG monitoring and archiving of data.
• Provide preceptor supervision to new technologists and students.
• Assist with emergency actions and infection control practices.
