Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital (Columbus, OH) seeks a Psychiatric Staff RN for the Neurobehavior Unit (Day Shift). The role is 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) with a 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule and every-other Saturday/Sunday required.

Starting rate is $36.90/hour, plus a $5.00 weekend shift differential. Expected to float to other Behavioral Health nursing units as needed by leadership. The RN must hold a Ohio RN license, have a BSN or be pursuing BSN within 5 years, and maintain CPR certification;

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care plans to the team.
• Plans, educates, and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents per organizational standards and maintains patient safety.
