Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Behavioral Health support role at 0.8 FTE (32 hours weekly). Work hours are 3:00pm–11:30pm with every other Saturday and Sunday.

The rate starts at $20.16/hour, plus $1.80 shift differential for evenings and $1.80 for weekends, with potential for higher pay based on relevant experience. You will perform basic supportive, trauma-informed care under supervision, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and assist with treatment planning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current enrollment in and completion of half a Psychology, Social Work, or related undergraduate program, or equivalent experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Participates with the interdisciplinary team in specialized patient care.
• Cares for patient assignment as delegated.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Provides trauma-informed care and safety through de-escalation and protective measures.
• Collaborates with other health professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Serves as a resource to staff regarding diagnoses, behavior plans, and crisis management.
