Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support Behavioral Health units. Schedule is 24 hours per week, 7am-3:30pm, every other weekend.

Starts at $36.90 per hour with weekend differential of $5.00. Responsibilities include providing family-centered nursing care, assessing patient needs, planning and evaluating care using evidence-based practices, and maintaining professional documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other required certifications.
• Ability to provide family-centered nursing care and documentation per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates priorities to the care team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Uses Therapeutic Communication to address physical, psychological and social needs.
• Documents according to organizational standards and participates in quality improvements.
