Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is hiring RNs with at least 1 year of experience for a new Behavioral Health unit. Shift is Nights (11pm-7:30am); FTE 0.6 (24 hours/week) with every other weekend.

Starting pay at $36.90/hr, plus $5.20 night differential and $5.00 weekend differential, benefits eligible. Responsibilities include providing family-centered nursing care, assessing needs, coordinating with team members, and applying evidence-based practices while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Licensed RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS as needed.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a family-centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates priorities to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care with evidence-based practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards and policies.
• Participates in quality improvement and reports updates to staff.
