Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry Unit. This PCU role involves caring for high-acuity neuro and trauma patients, with opportunities to see multi-system complex cases in a collaborative team environment.

The unit emphasizes critical thinking, quick response to changes in patient condition, and evidence-based practice. A day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) with weekend/holiday rotation is offered, plus a weekend differential

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly valued.
• Nursing practice aligned with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan individualized care.
• Implement and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Document care and patient responses in the medical record.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
