Job summary

Banner Health’s Neuro-Trauma PCU in Phoenix seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) to join a 48-bed dual-neuroscience and trauma unit. The role includes direct patient care, data collection, and documentation in the EMR, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient experience.

The position is full-time on Day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) with rotating weekends/holidays and shift differentials. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for licensed CNAs or LNAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA/LNA license in state of practice.
• One year of medical clerical or hospital/clinic experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and participate in care planning.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and other data in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform procedures under supervision, including basic tests and equipment use.
• Support unit operations and communication across care teams.
