Job summary

Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Neuro-Trauma PCU team. This full-time night shift (three 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am) includes a weekend differential and an 18% night differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA license in state of practice required.
• 1 year of medical clerical or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort.
• Document vital signs and data in medical records.
• Report changes in patient status to licensed staff.
• Assist with unit secretary tasks and patient transportation as needed.
• Maintain supplies and chart forms for the unit.
