The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Neuro Stepdown unit at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will support nursing staff by coordinating patient admissions, transfers and discharges, managing documentation, and handling unit clerical duties in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work nights 7:00 pm–7:30 am with weekend/holiday rotation; previous hospital or healthcare setting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Typing, computer skills or related coursework required.

Responsabilités

• Greet and orient patients and families to the unit.
• Respond to patient call lights and participate in rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist with wayfinding and direct to resources.
• Maintain patient records and related documents.
• Handle unit clerical tasks and basic equipment troubleshooting.
