Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus in Cleveland Heights. The role involves patient-centered care on a 14-bed unit with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

The ideal candidate will perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and manage complex respiratory support (Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, Trach/Vents) while leading bedside procedures and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS/BLS certifications current or obtained within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.
